Summary:This study is aimed at judging whether or not the teacher’s lesson plan of VII year in 2007/2008 academic year for the first semester made by the teacher of SMPIT Nurhidayah, Surakarta are compatible with the principle of School Level – based Curriculum. The data are the aspects of the teacher’s lesson plan. The data were collected by documenting the teacher’s lesson plan of VII year in 2007/2008 academic year for the first semester. The analysis of the research was done by comparing the teacher’s lesson plan with the principles of School Level – based Curriculum. The result of the data analysis shows that the content of the lesson plan has two compatibilities with the basic principles of School Level – based Curriculum. It is found on the second and fifth principles. The teacher wrote the lesson plan based on the unit on her guide book. There are four meetings in one lesson plan. The competencies both standard competencies and basic competencies, were not separated based on meeting.
