Tiga puluh tahun mendatang diperkirakan akan terjadi 10 juta kematian akibat resistensi antibiotik dimana 4,7 juta diantaranya merupakan penduduk Asia. Resistensi antibiotik merupakan penurunan sensitivitas antibiotik terhadap bakteri. Sekitar 80% penyebab resistensi antibiotik berasal dari penggunaan Antibiotic Growth Promoter (AGP) pada hewan, sedangkan 20% penyebab dari resistensi antibiotik berasal dari pemakaian antibiotik yang tidak tepat pada manusia. Tujuan dari kegiatan webinar ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi serta melihat bagaimana tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa non kesehatan tentang penggunaan antibiotik yang baik dan benar. Parameter keberhasilan dari webinar dilihat pada hasil pre-test yang diberikan sebelum kegiatan webinar dan hasil post-test yang diberikan setelah kegiatan webinar. Masing-masing pre-test dan post-test terdiri dari 5 pertanyaan yang sama dan diberikan dalam bentuk google form. Hasil memperlihatkan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 68,57% dan rata-rata nilai post-test sebesar 85,71%. Berdasarkan uji statistik Wilcoxon didapatkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,001 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan antara nilai pre-test dan nilai post-test. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan mengikuti webinar ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta webinar mengenai penggunaan antibiotik dengan bijak.
ABSTRACT
In the next thirty years, it is estimated that there will be 10 million deaths due to antibiotic resistance, of which 4.7 million are Asians. Antibiotic resistance is a decrease in antibiotic sensitivity to bacteria. About 80% of the causes of antibiotic resistance come from the use of Antibiotic Growth Promoter (AGP) in animals, while 20% of the causes of antibiotic resistance come from the inappropriate use of antibiotics in humans. The purpose of this webinar activity is to educate and see how the level of knowledge of non-health students about the proper and correct use of antibiotics. The parameters of the success of the webinar are seen in the results of the pre-test given before the webinar activity and the post-test results given after the webinar activity. Each pre-test and post-test consists of the same 5 questions and is given in the form of a google form. The results showed that the average pre-test score was 67.7% and the post-test average was 81.18%. Based on the Wilcoxon statistical test, p-value of 0.001 was obtained, which means that there is a difference between the pre-test and post-test values. It can be concluded that participating in this webinar can increase the knowledge of webinar participants about the wise use of antibiotics. |
