Achoimre:The research aims to show the need for the world peace in Kingdom Of Heaven movie by using a sociological perspective. It is done by establishing two objectives: the first is analyzing the film based on its structural elements and the second is analyzing the film based on sociological perspective. The study is a qualitative study. Type of data of the study is literature taken from two data sources: primary and secondary. The primary data source taken from Kingdom of Heaven movie directed by Ridley Scott release in 2005. While the secondary data are materials taken from books and internet related to the study. Both data are collected through library research and analyzed by descriptive analysis. The study comes to the following conclusion. Firstly, based on the structural analysis it is apparent that in this movie, Ridley Scott expresses his idea that greed for power results in violence and murder. Secondly, based on the sociological analysis it is evident that the movie was closely related to the contemporary phenomena in which people may forward individual interests in the misery of others.
