description | The purposes of the study are : 1) To get a description about the condition
of education quality in general in SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo, in order to describe
the real fact of the education quality in SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo; 2) to reveal the
condition of students achievement in order to describe the success level of the
education quality in SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo; 3) to reveal the quality
management in SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo that consists of classroom
management, student recruitment management and learning activity management.
The research is beneficial as the consideration for the headmaster in conducting
evalution in the teaching and learning activity and as information about the quality
management in SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo.
The research is a qualitative study applying etnography approach. The
study is conducted in SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo. The subjects of the study are
mudir ma’had, headmaster, teachers and students of SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo.
The data are collected through etnographic interview, observation, and
documentation. The data are analyzed using qualitative analysis. Data validity is
conducted using triangulation technique and member check.
The results of the research are as follows : (1) The space management in
SMA Assalaam Sukoharjo is oriented on the conservation of the environment
oriented management is not only focused on physical aspect but also friendly
environment to create cozy learning atmosphere. K 3 activity (Cleaness, Beauty
and Neaty) is taught for the students. The development of environment
management applies the consept of 6 K (Security, Cleanness, Discipline Beauty,
Hospitality and Shadyness). The effost of school cleanness becomes the
responsibility of all school members. (2) The management of student recruitmen
in SMA Assalaam is conducted through several strategies; such as the
socialization for the IX graders of MTs, free of application fee for the outstanding
students; open recruitment, application and regristation by online, the
management of graduation score, computerization to improve professionalism image (3) The management of students learning system is generally “majma’ul
Bahraini”. The teaching and learning applies the general system, the daily life is
arranged in boarding school with discipline system. The activity of teaching and
learning consists of: worship, life togetherness, teaching and learning activity, and
exstracuriculair activity. |
